St. Augustines Church recently donated oak lumber from a few of the pews that they removed from the historic landmark. Their sexton, Karl Miller graciously contacted Crafters Edge and asked them if they would be interested in the lumber for the projects they were creating this year. The wood was used for small tables and cutting boards. A Crafters Edge student, Bobby Cody,  decided he wanted to do something nice for the church for donating the wood so he designed and constructed a solid repurposed oak table that could be used to hold pamphlets and other media for the members of the church. This is the final product. Thanks to St Augustines and thanks to Bobby for doing such a professional job and giving back to the community!

The student’s of Crafters Edge pulled off another great event Saturday, November 12th. Hundreds of people flocked to the MSMS gymnasium between 9am-3pm to browse and purchase products from local vendors and the students of Crafters Edge. The Cafe was a huge success and many compliments were received about the quality of the food and the service provided by the students working. A special thanks to all of our dedicated Vendors, Parent Volunteers, MSMS Staff, Corporate Sponsors, Students and all the people who stopped by to support us. Our Cedar Adirondack Chair Raffle winner was Allison Marecello of Montpelier. Congratulations to her!

The first dance of the 2016-2017 school year date has been announced as the 23rd of September!  The dance’s theme is neon colors, so come in the brightest clothes you have!  The dance is for 7th and 8th graders and is 3$ to come, but bring extra money for snacks.

Also the date for the annual Craft Fair has been set for the 12th of November.  The Craft Fair will contain a variety of student made products and food.  It will also feature local vendors and their products. Valentine’s Day Orders

Crafters Edge and Team Leadership will be selling carnations and cookies for this Valentine’s Day. Orders will be collected until Wednesday, February 10th. Cookies and carnations will be delivered in TA Friday, February 12th. If you would like to order a cookie or a carnation, please bring an order form with payment to the Family and Consumer Sciences Room.

The 6th Grade Semi-Formal dance is almost upon us! The December 18th dance will be held in the cafeteria from 6:30 to 8:30, admission is 3$ per person and make sure to bring money for snacks. Remember this is strictly a 6th grade dance!

The Crafters Edge 33rd Annual Craft Fair will be taking place at Main Street Middle School on November 14th, from 9am-3pm. Crafters Edge students will have all kinds of student made Arts & Crafts and we will also be serving food in our cafe. Crafters Edge September 2015 Dance Date Announced!

Crafters Edge is excited to announce our first of many upcoming dances!

Our first dance is coming September 18th!  Be sure to bring $3 as an entrance fee and extra cash for snacks!

Our theme for the dance is semi-formal!  You can choose to wear your own choice of clothing (as long as it’s appropriate), but we suggest you wear attire consistent with the theme of the dance. Please refer to our Dance Rules before attending.
